27th July: Another pulse of departing WWs saw 60 logged at the Bill, where 10 Sedge W, 3 Yellow Wags & 2 YLGulls were also about. Lots of Med Gulls still offshore but little actually moving on the sea & again no more than a single Balearic Shearwater.

Another across the board drop in moth numbers at the Obs overnight wasn't a surprise what with the stiff northwest breeze and waxing moon but still plenty of scarce migrant interest incl 3 Striped Hawks and singles of Many-lined, Convolvulus Hawk, Cosmopolitan and Eastern Bordered Straw.
