22nd July: With sea & wader interest having dropped right off eg zero shearwaters off the Bill & just 2 Sanderling at Ferrybridge it was left to a small flurry of migrants at the Bill to save the day incl 8 Yellow Wagtails, the first Reed W of the autumn & a handful each of the other expecteds

Slightly diminished returns again on the moth front but still plenty of migrant interest in the Obs garden moth-traps overnight: 3 Striped Hawks and 2 Ni the best of the scarcities, with a Tufted Tortrix cristana the most infrequent of the 'rare here' dispersers (fewer than 10 Portland records ever)
