Another abject showing on the passerine front saw just 2 Willow Warblers logged at the Bill and no other grounded migrants reported anywhere. Waders clearly were on the move, with Ferrybridge totals building through the day to reach 97 Ringed Plover, 70 Dunlin, 7 Sanderling and a Whimbrel by the evening. Interest was also maintained on the sea, with 12 Balearic Shearwaters, 20 Common Scoter and a trickle of Manx Shearwaters through off the Bill.
There didn't look to be any new arrivals amongst the small numbers of immigrant moths trapped overnight.
