Same weather, same migrants, slightly different numbers. Being a nice bright weekend day there was an increase in coverage but, sadly, more eyes didn't mean more birds, with a good perusal of the centre and south of the island coming up with a common migrant tally of just 11 Wheatears and 8 Chiffchaffs; beyond the usual half dozen Purple Sandpipers and both the recent Firecrests still about, singles of White Wagtail and Mistle Thrush provided the only other interest on the land there. Sea passage didn't pick up at all, with just 10 Common Scoter and a Red-throated Diver through off the Bill.
