Lean times still on the migrant front although a small arrival of
Wheatears did see the logging of their first double figure total of the season, with 8 scattered around Barleycrates/Reap, together with further singles at the Bill and Ferrybridge; a few extra
Stonechats, a few
Lesser Black-backed Gulls arriving in/off and the odd few
Chiffchaffs here and there were not only the best of the rest but all of the rest. Three
Red-throated Divers passed by off the Bill, whilst winter fare still on offer included 37
Dark-bellied and 2
Pale-bellied Brent Geese at Ferrybridge.
