Tomorrow's another day which is fortunate since, apart from providing an opportunity to catch up with seriously overdue admin and Obs garden maintenance, on the bird front today was pretty hopeless. Migrant-wise, there was a light scatter of entirely expected arrivals on the ground and a few hirundines overhead, with the Ferrybridge waders slightly better and including 5 more Black-tailed Godwits in their midst. On the sea, a likely Cory's Shearwater was unexpected bounty for one fortunate observer at the Bill on a day when the blustery north of west wind offered little expectation and no other worthwhile reward beyond a couple of Balearic Shearwaters.
