30th November

Whilst sunny conditions and an appreciable drop in the wind made for an unseasonably pleasant end to the month, the birding remained far more typical for the time of year, with just 4 Purple Sandpipers, 2 Goldcrest, 2 Chiffchaff and singles of Black Redstart, Water Rail and Reed Bunting logged around the Bill plus a Red-throated Diver out to sea. Elsewhere at Ferrybridge, a total of 112 Dunlin and 12 Ringed Plover were present, with 2 Goosander seen heading south.
