The beginnings of a cooling off of the last couple of days of heat didn't really have much effect on the birding with it remaining quiet everywhere. Coverage was limited but another 50
Sand Martins dribbled through overhead at the Bill, where a
Yellow Wagtail was still about and odds and ends including a
Little Egret also made the list. Elsewhere, a
Whimbrel passed over at Ferrybridge.
