In increasingly miserable breezy and mizzly conditions today was the quietest day for a while. Odds and ends of interest uncovered - mostly likely lingerers - included the
Red-necked Grebe in Portland Harbour, a
Yellow-browed Warbler at Avalanche Road and 2
Redwings and singles of
Grey Heron,
Merlin,
Firecrest and
Cirl Bunting at the Bill; unfortunately, a turtle dove that made the briefest of fly-pasts at the Obs wasn't seen well enough to establish that is really was
just a late
Turtle Dove.
