Another bout of wild weather thrown at us today, with a 60mph westerly gale accompanied by frequent heavy showers and eventually a longer spell of rain - utterly grim! There were a scatter of grounded migrants about including 20
Blackcaps and a
Black Redstart at the Bill, the year's first
Swift passed over at Southwell, a trickle of
Manx Shearwaters, a
Red-throated Diver and an
Arctic Tern passed though off the Bill and 62
Sandwich Terns and a
Whimbrel passed through at Ferrybridge.
