Fine, sunny conditions were welcome and saw a late Swallow put in a brief appearance over Weston Street; a few birds also got moving offshore, where 16 Brent Geese, 15 Common Scoter and 6 Red-throated Divers passed through off the Bill. Winterers making the list included 11 Black-necked Grebes and 3 Great Northern Divers in Portland Harbour and a Water Rail at the Bill.
