A very quiet day for anything other passing
Swallows that made the most of the return of sunny skies and were rattling through along West Cliffs at 150-200 an hour at times; an
Osprey also passed through over the Verne whilst a
Hoopoe again made an early morning visit to a private garden at Weston. Grounded arrivals were really thinly spread and included nothing of consequence beyond single
Firecrests at Thumb Lane and Avalanche Road. The offshore breeze saw to it that sea passage was almost non-existent.
