It remained way too windy to permit enjoyable fieldwork today but a steady passage developed overhead that could at least be tapped into from some sheltered spots. Totals at the Bill included 1330
Wood Pigeons, 245
Starlings and 120
Goldfinches, with 3
Crossbills and a
Grey Plover providing a modicum of interest amongst the lower totals. Grounded arrivals looked to be few and far between and included little more of interest than a thin scatter of
Black Redstarts,
Redwings and
Firecrests everywhere and a lone
Yellow-legged Gull at the Bill.
