Anyone who thought the weekend's little flurries of migrant might be the precursor to rich pickings this week were in for a rude awakening today, with a low double figure total of
Willow Warblers and a handful of
Sedge Warblers all that could be mustered from the land at the Bill. Two Balearic Shearwaters lingered offshore there and 22
Common Scoter and a
Manx Shearwater also passed by on the sea, whilst the only other island report was of a lone
Sanderling at Ferrybridge.
