Once more unto the rain drenched fields we trudged with little encouragement from our avian quarry. Passerine highlights were limited to a small smattering of
Reed Warblers, a
Willow Warbler (honestly when we saw this hunkered in the Pulpit Bushes we were hoping for a little more...) and the first fly-over
Siskin since April. The sea was once again limited to single figure counts with the highlight of a single
Arctic Skua causing chaos amongst the gull flock.
