With the wind and rain truly set in by late morning, the majority of the day's sightings were restricted to the first few hours of birdable conditions. Seawatching totals from the Bill included 1 Great Skua, 2 Arctic Skua, 23 Balearic Shearwaters and 16 Manx Shearwaters with an additional Sooty Shearwater, 8 Balearic Shearwaters and 2 Manx Shearwaters from the Cove. The Ferrybridge wader totals included 46 Dunlin, 54 Ringed Plover, 2 Sanderling and 2 Turnstone.
