7th April

The days to forget chart had an entry straight in at No 1 today, with the continuing chilly north-westerly knocking migration dead. The only obvious new arrivals making the list were a Grey Heron at the Bill and a Bar-tailed Godwit at the Ferrybridge, whilst lingerers included 2 Firecrests and a Black Redstart at the Bill. On the sea a trickle of yesterday's Manx Shearwaters made their way back west.
