No particular surprises today with the
Hume's Warbler at Thumb Lane continuing to steal the limelight. Seven more
Redwings at the Bill provided the day's migrant interest, with the
Blackcap in a private garden at Southwell perhaps the individual that's been kicking around elsewhere in the village for a while. The rest of the Bill list for the day included 4
Purple Sandpipers, 2
Short-eared Owls and 2
Black Redstarts, with 7
Red-throated Divers through on the sea.
