It didn't take long for the wind increase again and rashes of nasty showers to set in. Two
Great Skuas were an almost expected result off the Bill, with 6
Red-throated Divers also through and the 2
Eider still settled offshore; a white-winged gull that passed by during one spell of particularly unhelpful conditions sadly couldn't be clinched. The first
Fieldfare for a while dropped in at Barleycrates Lane, whilst other snippets from the day included a
Chiffchaff still at Southwell, a
Great Northern Diver off Billy Winters and 2
Shelducks and the regular family of
Pale-bellied Brent Geese still at Ferrybridge.
